A fantastic ED trip euro*
I'm glad I could helped you have a special ED experience. Hotel Kolfuschgerhof & Gardana Pass/Sella Ronda are so awesome!! Umbrail Pass is the sort of back(side)way into Stelvio(summit)from the Swiss side. Did you turn LEFT and try to drive up to the summit ? Or did you drive towards Bormio(city)right turn and thru all those tunnels ? Its a pity Stelvio Pass was still closed. I think it opened a few days later this year. For other's planning ED and Stelvio Pass... try driving there around late June(and up to about mid October - then the snow comes!!) BC the first week or two of June... they hold the Italia Giro cyclist races. At the end of June is always a good time to plan a tour there. Lake Como and Lake Garda you can never go wrong. I love that part of Italy. take care, Dackel

Hope you enjoyed all the beer and cakes and sausages and more cakes. Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain are really awesome for driving. Hope the 401 treats your car well. |

Congratulations and fantastic write up! You have redeemed yourself from 2016. After a fantastic ED for my 2016 F80, it didn't work out for my 2020 M2C. Next time...

I have been on this board since 2007 and I think less than 20% of M5 owners have done European Delivery. Maybe even less, and all I have to say is: the next time you order a new BMW pick it up in Germany, you will not be disappointed!

Congrats and great job on the write up with so many amazing photos. It's really sad that ED reports have become so few and far between these days. We're contemplating one next year and you've definitely given me some inspiration.

Absolutely loved your write up! Enough detail to be informative but short enough to be interesting. Great shots and a beautiful car! I think it's nice your wife was willing to do the ED focused trip TWICE. This is a bucketlist activity for me. Need some more interior pics though

Brilliant trip report. I have talked about doing a European Delivery the past 10 years but can never pull the trigger. My concern is that I will not having fun driving my brand new car in brand new cities and roads. Would be too nervous. The wimp in me.
