There are some subtle differences, but they both look nice. The lci looks more like an extended g20, as one might expect. It suits the car though. The lci looks classy.

Maybe it's just the camera angle, but the gaps in the front fender area seem to have been reduced (i.e., suspension dropped slightly on the LCI model).

I don't know why Bmw is voluntarily choosing to take away "BMW" design language. Why take the halos away and go with the same DRLs a VW golf has???
