So you are buying the M5 Competition, which is sportier than a regular, well engined 5er, which is sportier than a M550, and even sportier than the regular M5, aber than you still have to upgrade to M Performance parts (exhaust/suspension). I thought I already bought THE M(otorsport) 5 series?! It's just crazy. It seems that a normal M5 means nothing. Oh, did you say there is a M5CS coming as well? Maybe with another set of PP?😅

Wonder if those sport brake pads help with squeal. I'd love to see BMW release a version of the Porsche tungsten carbide brakes.

The MPE is available for M5 & M5C now but not for non-diesel LCI? Did I read that right?

I doubt that a sportier brake pad over stock would stand a chance at reducing noise, rather a guarantee of the opposite. Go bed in your brakes if you want to reduce the noise. Squeak comes from glazing, which comes from light braking.

Well since it will lower the weight of the vehicle then technically it improves performance hence answering your question...

A carbon wrapped performance fuel cap?

Come on BMW, I know you can do better than that!

Fair enough, I bought an optional fuel cap for my E36 back in 2016. But this is an original lockable cap.

Those were for the Z3 since they didn't offer a locking fuel door. They still need to offer a locking fuel cap for the newer cars though! People just rip the entire fuel door off and they're in.
