Just yank and turn if I recall correctly. 😄
You mean the stock ducting from the grille to the air box right? It's just seated in a rubber insert and should come loose. |

Behind the kidney grills, the little boxes with the grills on top are held on by 3 tabs, side facing you and bottom and top. If you peel back the rubber on the side facing you, the biggest tab is right there. Pull back on it while you pull the box away on that side. From there you should be able to twist a little and pull a little to free the boxes. It is too hard to release all 3 tabs at once and reaching the top and bottom tabs, which are smaller, is hard.
