Tips for springs install?

I ordered a set of H&R springs. Searched and found a post on removing the rear interior parts to access the bolts inside the car, but nothing more. I can figure it out, but always try to read/watch first when available.

I'm in the same boat as you and definitely would like to know as well. My local shops are quoting me over 1K just for labor to install springs.

I've done my own springs on other cheaper cars but I'd be pretty hesitant to tackle it on this one. Interested to see what's involved.

I did springs and shocks/struts on my E36, E39, E90M3 and will do them on the F90 as well. I don’t have an ETA on the springs yet but will post how it goes and some details and maybe some pictures. $1100 seems high, but labor rates vary and from the little I know it’s not a quick job and that price probably includes the alignment.

I installed a MPHAS kit in my garage on jackstands. I've attached the BMW shop instructions for front/rear spring replacement. I replaced many of the fasteners per the procedure, not sure how necessary it was for the non-TTY stuff. I definitely recommend replacing the bolts that hold the front hubs to the output shafts. These are TTY and others have had issues with them coming loose after spring installs.

Thanks! ETA on the springs is 3 months so it will be a while. I could choose different springs but I am also waiting on the Dinan rear ball joint kit and have plenty of other projects to keep me busy

3 months?
Is it the M550 spring or M5 specific?
Cuz I have few sets of the M550 spring in stock.

M5 specific. M550i springs are available but are lower than I want since I drive year in snow and over frost heaved roads in winter/spring.
