I agree here, if it wasnt for the forums we would probably see maybe one if not not any even where I live. Im smack in the middle of the BMW M Buffet Palace aka Orange County and I still have only seen 2 live Nardos. Of course its all over the net and Insta so it becomes "played out"...

Even with the original Audi rolling nardo predominately with the RS7- its still a rare build.

In terms of tuner/show cars, I have to agree Nardo Grey is beyond played out. When wrapping and tire letters became mainstream around 2013, I feel like a large majority of people who wrapped their car chose that color.

Same goes for tire lettering.

This is all purely objective as it refers mostly to the place I live and the friends I keep.

I could imagine Nardo Grey with white tire letters being the hottest thing in the streets in a place that doesn't see lots of high end builds.

In a world of many colors and the ability to choose, I'd recommend people choose something more unique--especially when customizing.

Next color to get played out: Chalk.

I think seeing factory Nardo paint is rare still, but I've definitely seen copycat wanna be nardo wraps plenty in LA. BTW, impressive list of cars.

It is Nardo Grey. I checked the sticker.

I tried to order M5 in Lime Rock Grey and was told the color is reserved for M3 CS and I cannot get it on the M5.

Hmm.... Whosoever is telling you 3-6 month extra wait is likely not correct. I had checked on nardo grey when I was ordering my M5 directly with M Studio and there was no such wait. I ended up getting Moonstone (quite the opposite of a flat paint such as Nardo - wife did not like Nardo at all). You may want to check with M studio on Nardo for timing if you ever want to get it.

For others who doubts Comp package - well you haven't driven a M5 in all likelihood. Even without tracking the car, it's worth it. After living with a F10 M5 Comp I can say that definitively.
