Sapphire Black M4 GTS w/681M CF wheels arrives in US

Just came from SR BMW.......Had my oil changed there today......The concensus of opinions on the selling price from the people working there think it will sell over $300K. The i8 they had sold for $100k over MSRP and supposedly was the first one sold in the U.S. Lol, it probably will sell for $300K+ seeing this is the land of the Dot-comers.......

Never liked the coupe in black or dark blue as it seems to washe out the lines of the car.

It's like the exhaust sound debate. Hard to get a good picture of the BSM. Believe me to the naked eye every line and curve is pronounced deeply

Absolutely agree 100%. I saw pics of BSM then saw VCP's BSM GTS in person.....nooooooo camera can capture the true nature of BSM

What's crazy is that it has water injection from the factory. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Would buy a stock m4, send it to IND and replicate a GTS for 50k less. Cool but for 150k plus that these demand, too many other dream cars on my list (which has zero BMWs on it)

Everyone has their opinion and I respect that but if you look past the badge, it's no worse than any of its competitors even with the inflated price tag. Performance is performance and all comparison's have the GTS very close to the GT3. I'm not saying I would pick one over the other but with these types of cars, the selling point seems to be badge given the responses here. I get that the GT3 has a more advanced chassis and if you're into having the technology, I guess the GT3 would be more attractive but if these are just track toys, does it really matter what tech each car has if the end result is similar? Maybe I'm missing something because I have zero experience with either?

Good thought. Though from an investment side, an OEM M4 GTS will certainly retain, if not surpass, its initial purchase price. We all know that a stock car with $50k worth of aftermarket parts, is worth(less) than the sum of the stock car a few years going forward. If I wanted a balls out track M4, irrelevant of potential resale, I'd do what you suggest.

So somebody is buying a very limited production car which is touted by many. If you have the means then who cares.

People spend thousands of dollars for a bottle of wine and it is gone in 1 hour or less. People spend millions on a jet and then spend 50-100k a month to own it. Let's go buy a boat and enjoy that money pit.

It's all relative.
