Like all things, the M4 GTS is worth is much as what someone is willing to pay for it. As of right now, its obvious that will all the bidding wards going on, there is no shortage of buyers willing to pay a premium for it in the US. After driving it for 2500kms on mine, I can tell everyone that the high praise from different automotive journalist is legit. This thing is just special!

At BMW dealers that's been allocated the non voucher cars. Walk into one of those dealers and tell them you want a M4 GTS at MSRP. They will just at you.

Wow... that is insane. Finally an M car that's proud to be a collectors. I really didn't see this coming because of the 911 GT3 as it's competitor.

Anyways, anyone wanna Lease a 911 GT3 RS for $2900.00 a month?!?! You get to drive 180 miles a month with only 25K down!! oh yes and have to sign a 5 year contract. LOL !!!

This is not a bidding war, it's dealer markup. It happens all the time (1M, M2, GT350R, GT3, GT3 RS, any exotic limited edition). Just called my local BMW dealer and they are getting 2 GTSs, both sold at MSRP.

Bidding wars or markups, the car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. How hard is that to understand?

Both sold at msrp long ago they arrived. So try finding one that's for sale now at msrp. If you do, I buy you a cookie.

What I don't understand is why dealer cars are arriving ahead of voucher cars?? I would have expected the other way round! But what do I know.....

No way. BMW has to take care of their dealers and allow them to make the profit on markup before customers.

$149K sticker means the dealer should definitely be charging two fiddy. This car will be worth $550K two years from now. Easily.
