And best thing about it is car should be here within a couple weeks dealer told me. They sent me the status today and it's at 193. Anyone know how long it could take after that?

Please don't put any money down. If the car is stolen or totaled Auto & GAP insurance will not reimburse you for your down payment. I've seen clients make this mistake over and over again. That money is lost. Keep the $7k in the bank and pay $1,550 per month. Best of luck with the new M. I'm in withdrawal, my 2015 lease was returned in November and I'm waiting to do European Delivery. Enjoy!!!

Appreciate the advice I understand though but I rather put the 7k down and have lower payments that's just me. Some people don't like putting a dollar down some people put over 20k. Everyone's view is different. But still trying to see how long it'll take car once status is 193 if you know?

My teenage son totalled our six month old, leased 3 series Grand Turismo. (car's airbags all went off, but the car protected my son and his three friends, who all got through the event pretty much unscathed)

It was determined that it was not my son's fault, and the other vehicle's insurance paid out our lease, PLUS I was able to pocket $4,000! We had put down $3,000. They ended up paying off the lease, plus the $3,000 we had put down, plus we pocketed $4,000 (they gave me a check for $7,000 AFTER paying off the lease with BMW)

However, it was an unusual situation...an executive vehicle, which had about 1200 miles on it when we leased it. Being it was an executive vehicle owned by BMW, we were able to lease a vehicle with miles, and the insurance company couldn't find a used comp, being the car was so new.

Due to the car being an executive vehicle, our payments were ridiculously low... we weren't able to find a replacement for similar payments, after getting paid off, and ended up with a 5 series, even though my wife much preferred the 3 series GT.

We also did have gap insurance. Not sure how much that had a part in it.

Just saying, there are times where you can get your deposit back, it isn't quite so black and white.

By the way... I did get screwed by the other guys insurance on medical!

I took my son to the emergency room, as his arm was bruised and bothering him. We had it X Rayed, and taken care of, and it didn't need any other care, as it wasn't broken or fractured.

Well, insurance got me to sign off in full to get the check from them, which I was overly eager to do... six months later, I get a bill from the hospital, for the care given to my son, for some ridiculous amount, nearly $2,000.

Having taken the check from the other guys insurance and signed papers that I agreed I was made whole once I received that check, I couldn't go back to them to get them to reimburse me for the medical!

Just a warning... make sure ALL medical bills have been received, in case you're in an accident and insurance is paying for your expenses.

Totally off topic here, but you could have submitted that $2k bill to your health insurance company after the fact. They may have been able to reprice it or at least have it count to your deductible and out of pocket.

If you want to get the best lease price, ask what the Money Factor is. Check to see how many points they've marked it up. The residual is from BMW, so that can't be changed.

Not a bad deal. Thought MF was 0.00156 right now.

I told the guy to lick my ballz (jk) but I didn't take the deal. I was willing to pay $1,600 a month but they didn't want to discount the car.

wow... you should yelp the dealer and mention that and their attempts to rip you off. Should go over well, and maybe keep some people out of their showroom.
