What is the best aftermarket coolant tank? (Velocity Tuning video)
Link to YouTube Video
Interesting watch. What do you guys think? I have front mount intakes and I’m wondering if that’ll be an issue. I don’t think it would but I’m curious after he mentions one of the tanks requiring a different intake setup. What’s your take? |

The relocation tank kit, which was the one left out of a recent comparison video I watched part of, requires eliminating the stock air box so it should work with a front mount intake. Not sure whether you have to cut and splice a pigtail for a different level sensor or not.

this is tough. i appreciate the one piece design of the british one. i hear o-ring and i hear eventual failure and leaking regaring the RK version. and being honest both set ups regarding the level sensor = PITA. and i couldnt help but chuckle when reading RK's description of the sensor just "sliding" out. Like that would ever happen. So if it comes to hacking a bunch of plastic verse just cutting and splicing. i take splicing every day of the week.
