Yesterday while out for a drive on I-35 going through Carrollton, Texas this car let me know it needs to be taken very seriously. I was in the left lane and was attempting to go around a slower moving car by entering the center lane. A Chrysler 300 just in front of me quickly move to the center lane before me. I applied more throttle as I moved into the right lane, passed the Chrysler and then moved back into the far left lane. The rate at which this car accelerated was almost frightening. I did not look at the speedometer so I do not know how fast I was moving but absolutely wow.

All (or most) M5 owners really need to take their car to the track at least ONE day (even better with an instructor sitting passenger). Their minds would be blown with the capability of the F90... Street driving, guaranteed you're seeing at most 25-50% of what it can truly do.

Spot on. It's literally like taking a champion thoroughbred and riding them around a small ring. We think "Ohh, wow, that was fast." This beast has SO much more capability when you actually employ it the way it was designed to be driven. And 100% agree on going to a track with an instructor if you're inexperienced. It is eye-opening when you really see what the F90 can do.

I haven't taken the opportunity to really get on it yet, I'm still feeling the M5 out. Its very different from the GR Supra I had prior. With that said, the M5 gets me where I need to go as fast as the other drivers on the road will let it...
