Gas Mileage?

I have had a 2020 M5 C for a couple of months. The first couple of freeway road trips I had 23+ mpg (super happy). The dealer did a software update last week and on my trip to the Rolex last weekend, I only got 18 mpg. Any one with similar experience?

Yes, I just had same experience. Car went into dealer with a bad fuel injector which caused my car’s “drivetrain malfunction” show.

Dealer had to reset computer which threw off all my numbers for fuel/ gas mileage. Drive your car for some time and it’ll reset to how you drive.

Obviously if you drive on the highway and more on, “comfort mode”, you’ll notice that it’ll go up again.

If you’re an aggressive driver in m sport plus constantly, it’ll be lower.

Im averaging a solid 8.5 mpg. Really happy w this number as my smiles per gallon are really great.

+1 on SPG > MPG. Haven’t seen double digits ever!

My 2023 is averaging 18.9 mpg. I drive about 15 miles / day to and from work. I'll drive a little spirited each time I drive.

I have 22-25 mpg.

I am at 21 combined over 25k miles. Pretty much no big city traffic, which seems to be what kills the mpg.
