Please post pics of Donnington with tint here.

include brand/series of tint and % light transmission for corresponding windows.

I’m considering FormulaOne Stratos but not sure what % to go with. I know most will say the darker the better but I’m also thinking of going more subtle for my Donnington M5C. Pics of various tints on Donnington cars would be very helpful. Thanks.

I did Xpel Prime XR Plus, 35% on the sides and back and 80% on the front windshield. 35% is the legal limit in Texas and I can't imagine going darker.

Scroll about halfway down in the below link and you'll see pics of mine right after a wash. Now, those pics make it look a little darker than it actually is...likely b/c of the angle and the clouds that morning.

Thanks, have any of you done films for the front windshield as well? I'm wondering how that would affect HUD readability if at all. I was considering possibly a 70-90% light transmission film just to keep solar energy in check from blasting down on the leather dash with hardly any visible darkening.

Ideally, I'm thinking of less darkening all around while still effective at cutting down solar energy. So possibly 3M Crystalline or LLumar Stratos.

I just had my film installed yesterday, Llumar CTX 35 on the side and rear windows, Llumar AIR 80 on the windshield. Sorry, no pictures, but the HUD is still perfectly readable.

Looks great! though it still seems too dark for my current tastes. I've usually done 35% or darker on past cars but this time I may go with 50% for a more subtle look. Part of me just enjoys seeing the way the aragon seats look from outside while parked with windows rolled up lol.

I'm waiting on the MP mirror caps too... I was told August at the earliest.

Very nice subtle 55% tint! I really like that on Donny grey.

My installer uses Llumar products, so I’ve been researching their products and now leaning towards Formula One Stratos. I used to have Formula One Pinnacle 35 on my previous Audi but it looks like I can get the same heat rejection and even higher IR energy rejection from the Formula One Stratos 50, with the benefit of having more light transmission / lighter tint which is what I want this time around on the M5C.

Booked the install, and will post pics here later this week.
