Reasonable to cite it?
As representative of a model that sells 100s of 1000s in its production run? Yes, as an anomaly. No, not as representative of the entire production run.

// EDIT: oh, and plus your anomaly won.

Dang it, I thought I was done earlier and now I've gone back on my word... bad limey... it's a trait my people share; .

Too much?
You don't have the one in the video. At least you haven't claimed that. Perhaps reading comprehension is not a personal strength...

My post count has been accumulated since 2006 if I remember correctly, and is not represented by drivel, although I appreciate the choice of word. Regardless, I am glad you appear to like your car, and that it is a source of pride for you.

You are correct, it's not my car in the video... but I do have one.

Err, thanks... I think! // no sarcasm intended

I don't have pride in it (I do in being a limey... as is possibly obvious.. as I do in being here) but I think my experience with 2 x E60 550s, 2 x F10 550s, 3 x F10 M5s, 2 x F06 M6 GCs, 1 x Fwhatever-it-was X5M, 1 x 2017 Audi RS7 Performance, 1 x 2018 AMG E63S and 1 x 2019 F90 M5 gives me sufficient borderline-objective data to make some fairly strong assertions--informed through experience and comparison--as to what's good and what's not as well as to identify when opinions are perhaps too-narrowly informed.

So is F90 your best thus far Limey?

It is, without a shadow of a doubt, the fastest car on the planet bar none; I'll take a Koengishfshjegg or a... OK, that's enough of that.

Seriously, my RS7 warmed me in many unmentionable places merely by looking at it... here it is (again, I know):

.. it was also fast as hell from a dig (not so much on the track) and yet I'd take this M5 every single time. This isn't much helping our case as to bias but WTF, I LOVE the M5 (for clarity: I love the M5 Competition, not the other one... you know, the Base Model) -->

I don't mean to diss the F90 here, but my Stg2 F10 M5 beats a Huracan. Again, don't get me wrong but shouldn't the F90 be much much faster?

Common now, it's a bit outdated!
I can see it's sportier than M5 F90 and more unique but still looks outdated and needs a strong refresh, hope they fix the weird hunch which Porsche kinda did with their Panamera a couple of years ago that RS7 copied anyway

Was talking about the RS7 design
Love it but needs a refresh now looking a little old

Nod, I loved mine, too... when I could launch it that is. We both know the F10s (and their F06 brethren) struggled putting the power down.

I think the F90 is an evolution in some respects--power being one of them. What is revolutionary is how it puts the power down, how it hides its weight, how it can launch just about anywhere.. and how easy it is to drive with the kids in the back in gob$hite traffic that we all get stuck in.

In addition, we're already where we are with aftermarket F90 mods, imagine what it'll look like in another 2 years!

Give me the Huracan all day every day. What is the point of posting a tuned AWD M5 drag racing a bone stock Huracan? Oh yeah, so the M5 owners can feel better about not being able to afford an Italian super car. Give me a break already!

I 100% agree to you on this. A sports family sedan beating the crap out of a "supercar"

It'll be interesting to see a roll-race between a Stg2 F90 and a Stg2 F10.

Where do you guys think the M5 will stand in the quickest M lineup once the AWD drivetrain rolls out everywhere?

My guess is right after the M8 and M8 GC... thoughts?

And that is an old saying for a reason lol.

And to answer your question - in order to meet EPA guidelines - much slower.

How is it not obvious that most people are simply astounded to see a relatively "straight off the showroom floor" family sedan compete at the drag strip in anyway with a legitimate super car?

I run daily errands with my twins in the back of this car and the overall level of luxury AND performance just boggles the mind and the imagination.

Too many toxic kids trying to win the interwebs around here.
