Is this car fitted with new springs or coil overs...it looks quite low in front for just springs. (but ride height looks perfect here IMO!)...Also, what is rim and tire size numbers on this example? And do those rims come in a Matt black/gunmetal finish? That would look killer.

Is this your car or customer car? Comments on any difference in ride quality? How much is this lowered? I think KW' literature says max is about .8 inches. Is this car maxed out on lowering stance?

Thanks

I heard that the literature is wrong and that car was dropped about 1.5 inches. Ill let Justin chime in from Auto Talent to confirm.

But just the visual look shows that the car is dropped more than .8 so Im not sure where KW came up such a measurement.

Yes I'm also curious because of the ".8" if that's the case the H&R springs at 1.2 drop seem more appealing.

I confirmed with Justin at AT- its 1.50 on that car in the pics with KW, so indeed their writeup is wrong.

H&R's are dropping into retailers in 1 to 2 weeks so that might be the way to go from a price point??

1.2" drop from the H&R's may work especially after they settle; I went H&R originally on my F10 before opting the KW HAS route primarily due to the bounciness of the H&R's.

On the fence regarding my F90; may have to wait for more pix and feedback.

Im already pre planning my F90

I heard the KW's are bouncy and the car is already bouncy with the stock springs in Sport Plus so hopefully the H&R's are dialed from a spring rate perspective. From past experience with BMW M's and H&R's; they were bit too aggressive from a compression and rebound measurement which caused that "bounciness". But in my R8 and 991.1 TT-S- the H&R's were/are brilliant. The dampers have a lot to do with this though.

I guess we will have to wait and see but I agree that 1.2 inches will be fine on the F90.

I can't provide any feedback on the Comp outside of my one test drive at the dealership

Out the box, I feel like the Comp is stiffer and has a lot better dampening.

With springs it reduces that feel of the floaty/boat feeling a bit but it also increases the discomfort in dampening on undulations and big bumps especially at higher speeds.

I always highly recommend coil overs because you'll feel an immediate improvement in all forms: handling, comfort, experience

The V4 ride like a dream
