Tyre size difference

Sorry to be boring and bring this up.

I have searched all 18 pages and done some searching and cant find the answer.

My fronts are good but rears need changing. I am tempted to go with 295 on the rear but that puts the front to rear ratio up to 1.96% (stock is (0.99)

Anyone running (long term) that sort of ratio?

Im very curious to hear why there are not more M5's on here with at least 305's on the rear? I assumed this car would accommodate the clearance needed to achieve this. Most pictures I see tend to be 295's

I had 305s ps4s but then switched to sport cup 2 connects and they don't make 305 so had to go with 295/35 but oddly enough sport cup 2 is a little bit wider than 4s 305.

I guess unless you are launching the car it has enough grip? I have only launched 4 times (not really interested) it lights up the rears in cold conditions other than that it puts the power down.

I was going to fit 305 ( found out 315 will fit) but can’t be bothered changing the fronts to bigger size as they are pretty new.

My rears are knackered will prob just fit 285 again.

I read people put 295 on and leave the fronts stock with no issues, maybe that’s why? Easy? Not sure.
