christ, talking to these guys is like pulling teeth.
Had no data since taking out my contract in october even though it was a 2GB plan. Phone literally would not connect unless on wifi. Spent until January constantly on the phone to them and them trying to fix it. In November they even told me to go and buy a mobile wifi hotpot and they'd refund me. That took three trips to the local shop. January - I can actually connect to data now, but the account still seems to think I don't have data so its charging me a fortune. Contact Vodafone and the CS agrees to refund all my charges since my contract started, so £15.30 per month, plus the wifi hotspot etc. Nothing happens. I call this week and they go 'oh dear, let me sort that for you'. I go over every bill they've sent me and things they've charged so they have the correct amount. I'm not even asking for compensation for them pissing me about so much. They promise to sort it, and credit my account with the necessary amount. Get a text this morning basically saying 'sod off'. They've reviewed things and aren't going to refund. So I call them up immediately. Apparantly what CS says is pointless unless their back office boys agree. They said something along the lines of detecting minor data usage therefore it must have been working. Ignoring that my phone literally wouldn't connect, how was that possible? In the end they said they'd refund me £5.10 per month for the data part (since when was data exactly 1/3 of the monthly fee?) and the wifi dongle because they have transcripts where they told me to buy that so they have no choice. Part of me just wants it to end, but part of me wants to escalate because they've been such bloody nuisances about it for so long and their arse doesn't know what their elbow is doing. |

Just make sure you don't pay them late. Chap at work has 3 credit strikes against him ATM, all for payment for bills that were in dispute due to Vodafone fecking it up.
He paid before final demand date but they still hit his credit score. (Now that's 330 from 999!!) Refunded finally last week & say they are going to remove the strikes but this has been going on since last September. They are shite. I managed to sack them off last year & will never use them again. |

Just took a sim only deal from them half price 20 quid a month - (offer still active) for 20gb 4g data and Spotify.
Just hope I don't have to call CS much. Have been with them 15 odd years so I know the score lol |

You don't need to piss about going through 10 different teams to get something done. If anyone is having major issues I have an email address that I can PM. |
