Yessir we're DEEP here.

I get to the DMV periodically. Actually will be taking delivery at BMW Catonsville (in MD) Friday. Friday will be nice and CLEAR for the drive up and down I-95. Hopefully not too much traffic.

If timing ever lines up, I can crash yalls meets.

OK since this thread has its own community of new owners, I figured it would be kosher to ask this here instead of creating a whole new one.

Opinions: debadge rear, or no? Not the roundel, obviously.

Will be getting 40% Tint all around next week, along with ppf and ceramic. I have the PRO rear spoiler on marina bay blue.

So, what was this recall actually about? How does it affect the car?

It was an on board emissions monitoring programming error (would not detect a certain type of failure in equipment). No impact to driveability, I assume.

Ceramic for me too and considering ppf on this car but most likely not getting ppf on the full car (maybe just the front end.+ headlights mirrors and maybe rocker panels).

I don't generally debadge my cars but have friends that do, so it's really subjective. Whatever looks good in your eyes is what really matters. These cars are eye candy either way!

Which areas are you getting ppf on?

Yeah, so I think I've decided not to debadge this time. I was looking at a pic I took of the back end and realized I like the various shades of blue in the "flag", particularly against the MBB paint, and I also like that the badging is black, which looks nice with the carbon Pro spoiler.

As for PPF, doing the front clip, CF roof, lower rockers and CF side skirts, top surface of carbon rear spoiler, and wheel arch edges. I've done full-body PPF before on track cars but I don't think it's necessary with how I'll be using this car.

Pushing off in a bit to pick up my F90.

Pics to be posted. I’m finally at peace with returning the F85. The residual just didn’t make sense to buy the car out (as compared to the current market). Heck I extended this lease 2 months. Time to move forward.
