I had piggybacks on a Panamera Turbo and a e63s, both had significant seat of pants hp gains, but this one doesn't. Beginning to think the 21's got the piggybacks locked out too.

I've read the TMAP sensor connection only piggybacks do have a hard time tuning the latest models. You also need electronic wastegate control to do it properly.

I just met a guy with a race chip on his m8gc. Said same thing doesnít feel any faster.

Flashes 100% do not work on 21s... Iíve spoken to over a dozen tuners from Noelle to Active Autowerks. Itís more then just a software issue, itís also a hardware issue apparently.

Can anyone confirm full JB4 with EWG connectors worked for them on their new 2021 s63-tu engine equipped beauty?

Happy thanksgiving!!!

Remove the Racechip and you will see that the car will feel noticeably slower. Sometimes the butt dyno only works one way. Ive used Racechip for several years on a lot of my cars and always did as promised.

Unless those people have Draggy/Racebox or dyno results to prove that performance is not improving, I would not take their words seriously.

So I'm in the market for an M5 and I know I'm going to want to tune it in a year or two. How much of a question is it that tuners can crack the 2021 code by then?

Should I just work the best deal on a 2020 that I can find?

That makes sense since I read EWG is needed to get boost higher than factory levels on the newer models.
