FS: PAC RP4.2-BM21 Wiring Interface
PAC RP4.2-BM21 Wiring Interface Connect a new car stereo and retain steering wheel controls and warning chimes in select 2006-2015 BMW vehicles Radio Replacement Interface (for BMW): The PAC RP4.2-BM21 interface allows the replacement of a factory radio in select BMW vehicles. Using this interface will retain factory features such as: steering wheel controls (SWC), iDrive controls and warning chimes (including rear park assist and front collision detection). The RP4.2-BM21 also provides data bus driven outputs such as data driven accessory power, vehicle speed signal (VSS), illumination, reverse, and parking brake. Compatible with:
Notes:
Used for eight months for a JVC aftermarket head unit in a 2011 128i. I have now installed an Android head unit so no longer need this. Worked great - simple plug and play and maintained all steering wheel controls. Included in this sale:
Does not include the 12v power wire so you will need to obtain about 15 feet of power wire. I will include an inline fuse holder. (The one that came with kit is still installed in vehicle - using it for power for the new unit.) Also, there was a small mounting bracket for the auxiliary speaker but I didn't use it and now cannot find it. There is a spot in the lower knee panel specifically for mounting this speaker.
