1st Round of Mods Complete-**UPDATED**

So my first round of modifications are complete and I’m pretty happy with it. I installed the IND painted center grille trim, front reflector delete, rear reflector delete with Acexxon gloss black inserts, IND gloss black painted M5 trunk emblem, 50% tint all around, 15mm front/12mm rear Future Classic spacers, KW HAS kit, and a DMETuning Stage 1(Plus)tune. The KW’s are making her sit exactly how I wanted, as I wasn’t looked for a slammed or tucked look. The ride really hasn’t changed at all so I’m pleased that I’m not giving up any quality especially in the comfort setting. Now for the tune...un-f@(king believable. I’ve been a customer of DMETuning for years now from my F80 platform. Moving now to the F90, I’m equally if not more impressed with the ability this car has when tuned. Driving casually, you’d never suspect the car was tuned as it retains its OEM smoothness and character. Get on boost tho, and she’s a legit animal. This should keep me content for a while(at least a month or so). Oh, and in the second picture you’ll see my custom alarm system lurking on the drivers side.

Nice drop! I'm loving the Alpine White, had it on my F10. Some people think it's too basic, but having a Individual Nardo M5 I still love the AW so much.

What is the center grill trim? My car is BSM so my center is black, is it normally not the same color as the car?

Here’s the difference before and after...the top center piece comes gloss black.

Thank you! I never thought I’d do Alpine White, but it shows on this car nicely. Always love the Individual Nardo by the way, such a substantial color.

Ah got it! Ok that makes sense since mine is already gloss black haha.

The second round of mods have just been done. I did the M Performance front splitters instead of a full lip to retain the much appreciated ground clearance I have over my former F80. These have the IND custom painted Alpine White CRT stripe. I’m up in the air about the stripe. It’s different and breaks up the all carbon surround, which is nice, but I’m unsure if I’d prefer it without. Moving on to the rear, its a RKP rear deck lid spoiler and RKP rear diffuser. The spoiler is more understated than the M Performance PRO, which is the look I was after. The RKP diffuser has 3 squared off fins and compliments the spoiler well. I finished the rear off with 4 exhaust tips from my friend’s 2021 M5 Competition. I gave RW Carbon a try with their carbon mirror caps and I’m happy with them. The weave and fitment are great, and at half the cost or more of the M performance caps.

Looks awesome, love the white/black/carbon combo! I actually like the white stripe if that helps. I was also looking at the RW carbon mirror caps too, thanks for the feedback I might make the switch when my LCI 21 Comp arrives in Feb

Thank you. As I’m looking at the stripe it’s growing on me. I’ve heard RW is hit or miss with fitment and quality, but these seem to be spot on. So far, so good. Good luck with the Comp!

Im not a fan of the white strip at all. Think the straight carbon gives the appearance of a wider more aggressive opening

Other than that nice mods!

Nice tasteful mods! Think a nice set of LCI rear tail lights would finish that off nicely.....

Appreciate the honest feedback. Thank you!! I’ll stick with them for now tho and if I get tired of it, nothing that a quick purchase can’t fix!

Thank you!! I agree, I’m really liking the new tail lights. I haven’t researched the cost on them, but maybe I don’t want to know.

Over in the UK we can get them fitted including parts all in for around £1100 so not a huge amount. Fill your boots!

So clean. I do like the stripe on the front splitter. Love the build!
