Should I get m perf CF pro spoiler and diffuser or not?

I can't decide, I haven't seen them in person, but the pictures look good and bad. I can't tell if the spoiler is too thick / bulky. Thoughts? Currently I have a BSM M5, with M perf CF side grilles and kidneys. M perf exhaust w CF tips, CF paddles, and I'm considering the side rails.

Also, I think I'll pass on the CF mirrors, it may be too much CF and on black, it doesn't stand out enough.

I normally only go for the CF pro spoiler. I think it makes the M5 look more complete, and aggressive. It looks very good, in my opinion, so I would definitely always get that. I didn’t go for any of the other CF bits—diffuser, mirror cap, etc.—as I have a M5C, and I believe that there is enough “black”, or shadowline trim, anyway. If I had the base M5, then I might be tempted to go for some more of the black parts, as I don’t really dig the “chrome” parts too much, but everybody has an opinion. These are just mine.

Spoiler: absolutely, 100%. The rear end of this car needs it.

Diffuser: sure. But whatever you do, get the diffuser surround painted body color for the love of all that's holy. I still have no idea why it isn't that way from the factory. The dark grey/black factory plastic looks like a part from Pep Boys. Ruins every car I see it on

Absolutely! Looks great and completes the rear. It's tasteful and aggressive

That's a good point, I bought a non comp M5, but it came with everything the comp did, except that black portion in the rear area. It came with CF kidneys, side grilles, m perf exhaust, CF roof, and shadow line trim everywhere, CF dark interior trim, etc. I have no chrome at all even tho it's non comp, which is interesting.

I think I'll get the spoiler, and not the diffuser for now. The CF mirror on BSM doesn't look that great to me.

Wait really? It's not all carbon fiber all around?

Yup the part itself is all CF:

https://ind-distribution.com/product...-rear-diffuser

I mean the lower bumper surround. By default it's black. Should be body colored from the factory imho, but it's easy enough to order it painted or have it done after the fact. You can see it painted in the first pic below, versus the black version in the second pic. Just looks like they forgot to paint it

CF Spoiler

I would strongly recommend the CF spoiler. I too was concerned about the size and if it was too bulky. Car just hit the dealership after about 6 weeks and on the showroom floor. Can't take delivery due to stop sale, however, CF spoiler looks great. Car would not look complete around the rear without it.. Just my opinion.

BTW, my 2021 M5C is BSM as well. Good luck!

Awesome! I'll do it then! Thanks for the advice.

Is this the correct one?

It's not clear, as it doesn't say "pro" and it's only $625. iND has the same one for $815.... not sure what to do as I don't want to pay $200 more for the same thing but EAS is a bit unclear as it says "large" vs pro.

What about the m perf CF side skirts? $1,325 is a good deal.

It looks pretty decent on that white car, but I just don’t like any kind of “writing” on the car (ie the “performance” thing), but that’s just me. I’m kind of minimalist like that. It might be cool down there, to sort of protect that typically pretty “dirty” area of the car.

I would go with either iND or getbmwparts tbh. Unless you call EAS and confirm the part number matches the BMW order guide

No that's not the part you're looking for. That part is the normal minimalist spoiler but in cf. it's the most useless design piece I've ever seen BMW spend money on.

The Pro is closer to $1000 from BMW and will say PRO.

I added both pieces to my M5 immediately upon getting home. Did them both myself.

You have to get the decal? Can't you just add the CF skirts on and nothing else?

Oh cool. I think it makes the car look wider.

Looking at the pic it's clearly the m performance pro spoiler. All the other OEM g30/f90 rear spoilers are just a tiny lip compared to the pro spoiler.

Perfect rear end. And a painted lower bumper trim! My man!

Both rear deck spoiler and diffuser look great from MPerf. Currently waiting for BMWNA to release a front kit for the LCI so I can do the full CF kit at once.
