Cool stuff no doubt.

However, I beat that time with my F90 and my current M8 with the following lists of mods:
1. JB4
2. Gasoline/petrol
... wait, #2 is a pre-req so scratch that—just the JB4 then: 10.33s at 133mph. :

I've done a 10.01 with the same set up as in the video in more ideal conditions. Ambient temps and surface conditions make a huge difference. The Pista is no slouch.

Great showing for a modded F90--- and I would lose every time if I could just drive that Purple People Eater.

I wondered when I'd get a slap from you on that comment —took a while, though.

PS: where's my TCU tune?
PPS: my quoted time is on a farm road in WA so sub-optimal conditions definitely apply there, too

Hadn't been on the forum for a while. My apologies

TCU tune - still can't get into the 2020 onwards TCU to flash it.

I have both cars...My M5 has the Race chip...The Pista still feels much faster.

It is my understanding that the ECU along with the electronic diff somewhat detune the car in the first 2 gears to assist in getting the power to the ground. The Pista is very light and has zero turbo lag. If some sort of intervention wasn't in place, the car would just spin tire.

What we saw in this race was the Pista not get the proper launch due to this, the AWD advantage of the M5, and the Pista couldn't make up that loss afterwards.

The Pista pulls extraordinarily hard from 80 to 150

However, respect to the M5 for being 4300 pounds and still being crazy fast and comfy. I love mine, and am ordering another shortly

The Pista is a dream car of mine. Definitely one day it will be in my garage.

Imran I'm following your guys footstep and doing the stage 3 build by RK. Let me know if there is a way I can be kept in the loop as you guys continuously develop the tuning with Utku and anything else you guys do.

In four door behemoth with a drag coefficient of a barn door by comparison, no less.

100% disagree. This is the most important test Carwow does because it shows which cars feel lazy and unresponsive when driven in default or comfort mode and which ones respond right away when you suddenly want or need to accelerate. I completely hate cars that take forever to respond to my right foot in any mode.

Agree 100%! Quite surprised how it responded so well. Wonder if it's as good as Porsche's PDK.

IIRC, Evolve's M5 isn't a comp, yet Matt says it is.

I mean who drives a modified and tuned 800hp+ m5c or a purple Ferrari pista in comfort mode? and then after making that choice, mashes the pedal to the floor and does over 150 mph?

In case of the M5, when you're taking the kids to school/tennis practice or on the way to the local market.

When you're on the I5 freeway with your SO on the way to wine country (Napa Valley), and some punk in an exotic wants to play all of a sudden.

I guess to me it seems like an edge case. I don't know anyone with similar cars who can stand driving in the comfort mode, but maybe I just don't know that demographic.
