Anyone else have a vibration/rattle in the third brake light, especially when going over highway seam/frost heaves at speed?

Super annoying.

My kids have isolated it to the brake light, we think. I thought it might be the rear sunshade, but they don't think so.

Car's finally going in for 1200 mile service tomorrow and they are aware of it, but wanted to see if anyone else has fixed this annoyance.

Yes, my 3rd brake light rattled like crazy. I think it might have been after they tinted the windows and possibly broke some clips trying to put it back together. I believe they had to put some sound deadening material to fix it, but it was resolved by the dealer.

My two rattles are the 3rd brake light housing and the cover over the rear view mirror housing. I took it off to install a radar detector and it rattled some afterward.

They added some felt tape to the inside contact points of the cover etc., and all is silent now.

Just like the felt tape that comes standard in on the inside of the seat belt receptacles.

Do u mind sharing a pic of where felt tape was installed as I have the same issue. Thx

My buddy used this on different vehicle to stop an issue with rattle inside the vehicle.
