Looks like they applied those part numbers specifically to the M5 35 Jahre edition
I would guess that it was not applied to the M5 Base or M5 Comp

Wow! Still a lot of comically obvious insecurity masquerading as ad nauseum CS criticism… get a grip!

The M5 CS is flat out badass and destined to be an iconic car in BMW lineage.

I think that's where the disconnect is. You are looking at the older competitions. I believe they started using the M8 suspension components in 2020 or 2021. That document is older.

Agreed. If we didn't have toddlers and the price was the same, I would definitely go for the CS.

I can still see how some (maybe older?) guys would not want a CS and prefer having a more conservative looking car that can still give you 98% of the performance.
