NYC shop for fixing curb rash

Thanks to the valet in my garage there are multiple curb rashes on my HREs. Any recommendations for shops in NY, preferably closer to lower Manhattan?

Thank you.

What's the finish on the wheels?

While I don't have a shop to recommend, I would not trust any custom finish to a wheel repair shop, instead I would ship them back to HRE.

Blacks, Silvers, white are easy to repair … brushed or tinted finishes are more difficult.

Good luck!!

Thanks. They are black p101s. Hoping they are easy to fix. Pic when rims weren't damaged.

Just find a reputable place and you should be fine with that color.

Could you post a pic of the curb rash? I know it's painful, lol. My stock black rims had a bit of rash on them when I bought it but only one spot is really bad looking. The other spots are easily covered with gloss black touch up paint. As for the big gouge in the back right, I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with it. Might try to fix it myself with some kind of filler....

I feel you on the valet's doing what they want to your car (just moved out of Manhattan after 10 years). Will at Enthusiast Auto in New Rochelle is the best in the area. Worth the logistical headache of getting it taken care of outside of the city.

A good wheel repair shop can repair curb rash. I would be interested to see the damaged wheel. Depending on the type of wheel and finish, some companies can even repair cracked wheels. The process involves machining the curb rash area down to a smooth surface. Then refinishing as needed.
