Have you tried from your local BMW dealership in your home country? I have a set but am in the UK and going over to Spain in March. Message me if interested.

You can easily remove yours and you can paint them if you do it correctly. The chrome needs to be removed. I used a blast cabinet, but you could do a lot of sanding instead with maybe 400 grit. I powder coated with gloss black, but if you were patient and careful, a 2 part epoxy spray should work. The temperature at the end of the exhaust probably does not exceed 200F.

Check your settings and let me know when i can reply but in the meantime, i would be looking for half of what i pad and so £200 plus postage. I also have a set of black BMS tips for the same price and both have a couple of thousand miles on each set. I bought both sets from new. Thanks. |

My guess is that the OP was already aware of the fact that he could buy black F90 exhaust tips new from a shop for $500.

Does not seem promising this time, either. If the OP is cheap like me, put the time and effort into painting the tips you have. I did it and they look great and I did not spend a penny since we already had the paint.

I struggle to understand the purchase of a $120k+ car to spray paint the exhaust tips.

I applaud those who DIY and do a good job. I assume that is how many of us can afford these cars (By being thrifty where we can).
