Moonroof?
I found a vehicle that is the exact same as my build specs pretty much, except that it has a moonroof, and I wanted the carbon fiber roof. I'd be able to get this F90 about 2 months sooner than my current order is estimated to arrive.
Should this be a dealbreaker? Is having the moonroof going to slow down the car at all or otherwise affect performance? Would most people ever even notice that the roof is CF? FWIW, the car I'm looking at is bluestone metallic (greyish), so there wouldn't be much contrast against the carbon anyway. |

In any real world sense, I can't imagine a hundred pound difference is going to affect a 600 hp car in any way at all. Unless you are going to strip it and turn it into a track car I'm not sure that making the car a bit more top heavy will change a thing. I think it really depends on whether you want exactly what you want, or if you are impatient! Both are equally valid!

In my mind, I didn't think it would make a difference either, and I'm also only 5'5" tall, so walking to the car in the mornings and after work I probably would never even notice the carbon roof.

It was a deal breaker on my end. We had all the previous generations to have moon roofs! Performance wise you're not going to feel a difference. In my eyes its all aesthetics!

it was a dealer breaker for, although i want a sapphire black but I still prefer the CF roof shape. I'll have to wait 2 months also just for the cf roof but its what I want.

I like my moon roof, unless you're a real deal racer on a racetrack you'll never touch the difference in performance. The CF roof IS handsome, though, and bragging rights yada, yada..

The carbon looks awesome and for me i'd wait to get it. I've had so many cars with sunroofs and they never get opened or used.

I have carbon fiber roof and its fine. Would have slightly preferred moonroof, but the "look" is very clean and cool from the outside with all CF.

Honestly I prefer the carbon fiber roof and do not like moon roofs.. I can feel a difference, but I probably drive my cars different than most people. If it's a daily driver, you may not even notice it. (Unless you are tall.) If it's going to be for track use then do not get a sunroof. Hope I helped.
