The Perfect Launch?

Hey,

I seem to find that leaving the turbos to spool for around 3 seconds, and keeping the suspension in comfort gives the best 0-60 times. I don't mess with the rev's but I think you can move them up and down on the wheel?

Anyone else found a different formula that works.

Danny

Letting the turbos spool for that long gives you the worst Launch that most off us experienced.

You get to much wheel spin or even short shift which is opposite what you want.

BTW you can't change the RPM on LC
If you hold it for 3 seconds you RPM will be at 3K which is to much wheel spin.

I had RC which gave me about 70HP more but in this video you can see why holding for long is not good.

Interesting, so do you lift off the brake as soon as the flag shows/

Every time I launch the car will break through the brakes. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Do you have the brake down as hard as it will go. I have to really stamp on mine to stop any creep.

First launch today after breakin service. Let the break go as soon as I saw the flag. I did burnish the breaks when I first got the car (don't have carbon ceramics) and in reading this forum burnishing helps the steel breaks hold better.
For winter tires and my first run, I was very impressed even if I was on a slight downslope.

Good lad! A few people seem to struggle to get it to launch - once you have a winning formula stick to it - I did a few the other day and it was super consistent.

No, and that's the problem.
I would recommend as soon as the flags are up let go

Yeah that's not great - I think the main factor is the p4s if your running the Pirelli your fucked they are a bag of shite. Another is making sure you launch in comfort mode for the suspension - on sport she bogs down 80% of the time, it's pathetic.

I hold the brakes down hard and how do you burnish the brakes?

I am getting new brake pads but have had the car for a year. Do I need to get anything else to burnish the brakes? Btw I'm getting new pads due to the squeaking of the brakes.
