I do love BMW na engines, but this sounds a
bit too mosquito-ish to me.

Thanks for posting. Sounds great and way better than many modern i6 engines.

BMW is in a class of one when it comes to pure engine induction noise. Leave exhaust noise completely out of it. The combination of high revs and individual throttle bodies is just so intoxicating. From this thing here to the McLaren F1, to the M3 CSL, to now the carbon plenum S65 M3s...just the best engine noise out there. I do agree that Honda is up there as well as far as amazing induction noise.

Clean and simple. Love it. Back then, they had their own magic.
And still love everything about it. That was pure mechanics.
I will buy this car anytime.

Naturally aspirated BMW 4-Cylinders are seriously underrated. I would love to import an E90 320si at some point in the future.

I completely agree. There is some reasoning why the e30 M3 was a 4 cylinder, and not a straight 6. Overall lightness and agility works well in a track. Overall it can be more fun, even if it has a slower 0 - 60 compared to bigger engines.
