What was the general conclusion that led you to comment the RS7 sucks?

I think I'm already sufficiently turned off with the performance data alone (but perhaps the Performance model will restore parity) but now it seems the tranny isn't up to snuff either?

Between this test and Auto Bild, the disparities in times thru the ranges are rather large. More than should be expected for a 600hp car vs the CE or the GT63S. The track times are even worse:

Auto Bild

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1685628

0-200 km is 11.9 for the RS7 vs 10.3 for the BMW and 10.4 for the AMG. You can see the other measurements show disparities too.

Big disparities with Sport Auto as well (posted above)

0-200 is 12.4 for the RSy vs 10.5 for the BMW and 10.7 for the AMG.

Thats a big gap and gaps in other measures too. And I did say it sucks comparatively as it still is faster than so many cars out there. But these are its direct competitors along with the E63S.

Im not done with the RS7 but these are two independent tests I believe and while there is a hp gap; its not big enough IMHO.

I am for now--for my next car at least. I'll give the industry time to build some products around it and, perhaps, for the numbers themselves to be proven red herrings or glitches or early models or not broken in scenarios... or maybe for the Performance variant to address the gap. I just wish I thought the M8 was anywhere near as good looking as the RS7 (or for that matter, as the early showcase-prototypes BMW were shipping around the world to various shows).
