New Noelle Tune: initial numbers - Holy Cow!

New here, long time lurker.
Absolutely had to post...

Got the new Noelle Tune for my F90 M5 and the performance is obvious and awesome.

See the attached screenshot of my direct ODB app performance times.

0-60 - 2.33 secs
1/4-Mile - 10.15 secs

I'm dying to get to the drag strip to get official times (and destroy 99% of the guys at street night), but I wanted to offer some quick feedback on Noelle...

The M5 Tune is insane, and the shop that did the tune walked me carefully through keeping within the WARRANTY terms regarding maintenance.

Very happy with performance & service so far!

Holy crap it's a monster.

Happy to answer questions as I'm able, I'm not a pro car tech but can answer most...

60ft and 0-60mph times dont add up. neither does 10.15 1/4 mile with 125 trap speed. these cars trap 125-128 stock. throw whatever you are measuring with in the trash and get a Dragy.

He he. Uh oh.

I just found and skimmed through "round one" - Eeesh. What am I getting myself into? ;-)

Sorry, No Dyno available.
Just times on the street.

For relative comparison, my previous times BEFORE the tune with the same ODB app were:

0-60 mph 2.9 secs
1/4-Mile 10.6 secs

Will post the "draggy" slip once it warms up & opens up (I'm in Northeast).

Please be gentle, ha ha.

Absolutely will do!

Good points, but the car is at 60mph in extremely short distance. Numbers are believable.

Need Dragy.

Agreed.

Okay, so because we have had some Noelle trolls on here I did some research. I noticed you are from Boston
so I looked to see if Noelle had a shop in Boston that actually does their tunes. They do have one. So, being
the detective that I am.. lol I called them and yes AK did get his car tuned there with the Noelle tune.

AK, sorry to check up on you but if you have seen the other Noelle threads you know we have had some trolls.
Hoping you get a dragy soon as there is lots of us that are very interested in seeing what kind of results you
get. I'm guessing that the device you are using now is using a 1ft rollout which is why your 0-60 is so low.
Take away the 1ft roll out and that a 2.57 which is believable. I do hope you got a 2.33 as that would be insane.

Keep us posted on your results.

2.9 to 60 is reasonable stock.

10.6 is probably the world record 1/4 mile in a stock F90. What year and model F90 do you have?

As you've heard, the numbers before the tune and certainly after don't make sense. Especially the 60ft &trap speed... and the relationship between various other numbers isn't really plausible.

What device are you using to measure performance?

Even if the 0-60 was 2.8 (giving lots of slack here) the 60-120 time is dog slow for a tuned car

0-60: 2.8
0-120: 9.84

60-120 in 7.04...thats trash and nearly a half second slower than stock, which is around 6.6-6.8 seconds stock.

and the stats in the post show it took 2.4 seconds to go from 110-120, fake or broken data.

He used an ODB adapter - not very accurate at all. The OBD runs at 3-4hz refresh rate so you have 0.5 seconds error already

This is total BS. I ran a 10.17 and trap speed was 137. 0-120 was 7.8. You're telling me your 0-120 took 2 seconds longer, but you ran a faster 1/4 mile with 10mph lower trap speed?

Edit: Sounds like you know you need a Dragy. Please make sure you ship it to the right address.

And your tires better have rubber on them too...

Crayon dynos also not acceptable...
