I think E63s is a better car .. it looks meaner it sounds much better interior is on the next level vs m5 and it as fast as m5 .. E63s is just brutal mean machine that you want to just floor it every second ..

It also rides like bucking mule!! I couldn’t daily drive a E63s.. the suspension is brutal

Other than the comment on the exhaust, everything else on this purely subjective. While I like the Benz, I find that it looks too droopy. As for interior, both are nice. More about what your prefer with these 2 cars as they are just about even.

I have test driven both cars and never owned a Merc before I think I will get it this time over the F90. Both cars seem equal for the most part. My love for BMW will most likely result in me buying a F90 later down the line.

Ive owned both and after 4 months with the M5 I dont miss the E63S- I really dont. Yes I had to mod the exhaust but thats easy. Whats not easy is creating a daily driver thats both a speed machine yet can endure the imperfections we all find on the road. I wrote this review when I first test drove the M5 for 2 full days or so and compared it to the E63S. I then subsequently got the M5 and the rest is history.

My thoughts as not a single point in time reviewer but as an owner of both. I really believe the M5 is faster in daily driving conditions with its more responsive transmission electronics, chassis feel, steering feel, and overall interior comfort.

But like I said in the review, two great cars. I sleep well at night

I hated the DCT from the get go.. better than the SMG... but a MT beats them all. Unfortunately clearly wasn't an option for the F90... (but I still have a MT M2).. so that softens the blow.

Way smoother in the F90.

For what it is... it's perfect. 97% as fast, and twice as smooth.
