Odd that it doesn't do it in lower maps.
I think it's just higher boost targets is when the ECU says "Oh, hell no" lol I don't think it's map6 only

I have some 1/4 mile logs for Map 5 runs in the past where the boost stayed 23-25psi the entire time. Am I wrong that absolute boost targets shouldn't listen to the ECU though? Seems like Map 5 is additive.

That's not clear to me either. I suspect when the ECU says "ahhh, hell no", even the JB can't override that but that's pure guesswork.

Assuming neither if you have emailed Terry that question, I will. Please confirm.

I was just looking at the logs from the 10.17 run and verified this with the dash cam. The car spun straight through 2nd gear. It was basically a 1st to 3rd shift. Need to get some better tires and give it another run.

Is anyone here running low 10's on Pirelli's ? Obviously, Michelin is the tire of choice, but I'm curious if anybody has been stuck with factory Pirelli's and still run the number.

I am. Going to change out to Michelins soon. It's hard to get through 1st without spinning, usually spins hard in 2nd and a little bit going into 3rd.

60' wasn't too bad though. Good run overall.

What fuel and DA?

Ran the car yesterday...19 times! Car ran great.

E30 blend of 93 octane and e85.
80 degrees

After the first hour, the car sat in the sun and was pretty warm. But kept running it for fun. Car stayed in the 10.4-.5 range, assuming good hard launch, at about 134-136.

...not once did LC fail.

You can see (high level) what different boost levels do for my car in this climate, with this fueling. 22psi one is flash only.

4 runs

VP109 with E85 mix
I have some hard problem to find the good LC start point.

My 0-60 feet is

Tyre PSI

36 psi back and 37 front 2 first run
33 psi back and 37 front 2 last run.

My lunch control short shifted the 2 first run.

On my last run, the cars backspin in 4th gear.

And the end of the dragway came fast .... it's get harder to brake.... it's limit when you pass the line and you reach 146 mph...

Searching for 1/2 miles runway ... but nothing aroud 600km here...

That's much too high. Try 28-30psi

Tks.
30Psi test
Great improvment (on normal road)

I'll try 29 - 28 for testing purpose.
