you can have them bend a little more..

back in Jan, I got quoted for $1430 including 6% MD tax on $118k 2020 M5.
but it was for 36/10k so not sure how 12k will make difference and 6% vs 7% tax.

does your state tax on the whole amount of the car? or just residual amount?

Running some simple numbers, OP is getting a slightly better deal, if not nearly identical. Adjusted to 10k per vs. 12k and your taxes, OP's payment is around $1425.

Difference in residual is 2% or $2360. Figure $30 a month per $1k that is $71 a month.

Difference in taxes is about $15 a month.

That's about $86 a month off OP's monthly which puts is around $1425 if adjusted to your mileage and tax rate.

I think it's a decent deal gojumatt for a 2020 and in the end, don't stress over less than $100 a month. We all want the best deal but if it's the car you want, with the specs you want, pick it up and enjoy the ride!

You are correct as my claim just go declined. I was basing my assumption on another post on this thread and thought I just needed to wait 6 months to get the check. Now debating if I ask for a refund on the BMW CCA fee.

I apologize if it was my information that was incorrect. I'd say to keep the membership though. The Roundel magazine is worth the cost alone.

That's not a great deal. I'm paying 1250 per month on a 24 month lease for a $115k car....really it's less because incentives took care of my first month's payment. It's a 2019
model but the 2020 is not $500 better than a 2019....matter of fact, some hate the new dash and consider it a step back from the 2019. This was $0 drive away, too.

Uh huh, some do indeed... but not many that actually have one, though.

The list of improvements goes far beyond mere digital dash, it extends to tangible differences such as transmission/shift improvements and more. I'm lucky enough to have had both 19s and 20s back-to-back so the comparison is as balanced as I can make it.

Those changes are not worth $500 per month, though. The new dash is boring to me. At first, I did indeed want the better navigation setup in the 20 (namely, the full screen with the left menu not being shown on navigation) but I then had full screen Carplay unlocked a few weeks ago and I don't even use IDrive anymore.

Says you --I paid for it precisely because I think (some of) it's worth it. To each their own... I wouldn't go back; no way.

That said, and as you say, the premium is high... and largely because it's new... it'll even out as time goes by (the price of early adoption).

…my SwapAlease ad should answer many other questions for anyone about the process and the car.

There are about 30 months left on the lease and 800 miles per month--the monthly mileage can be increased online at any time.

The cash incentive is quite literally cash in your hand used to offset the natural monthly lease payment as you see fit (typically, folks amortize it and reduce their effective monthly payment to the $$ figure posted).

I leased the car from Momentum BMW in Houston, TX 6 months ago. It's in perfect condition and has many desirable aesthetic aftermarket mods--they're all free including the OEM tires. I'm swapping the car solely because I want an M8--this is my second F90, I sold the lease on my 2019 M5 Comp because of mileage.

I really like this car but I’m looking for carbon roof... good luck with the swap!

That's a great idea—best of both worlds. You could open the roof without getting wet when it's raining.

Joking aside: what's the thing with the carbon roof? To me, it's something missing, not something added. The sunroof is also far and away the best way to hear the exhaust.

I wanted a CF roof until I sat in one without it. Happy I opted out. I'm with you, great way to hear the exhaust and a great way to let some light in the cabin, especially with my all black interior.

Sunroof weighs almost 200 lbs more, and that weight is at the highest point so it raises the center of gravity.

Most people don't use a sunroof, either.

Honestly, 200lbs seems excessive. I would assume it's closer to 50. Say an article a while back that it was 21kg weight savings to go with CF over the 'tin and sunroof' option. 21kg is worth it IMO especially living in an area where it can be used year round 😊.

I use it everyday... often for sun, sometimes because I'm too warm but mostly for the exhaust.

When you say most, what's your statistical sample size? C'mon, you're asserting that most share your opinion but in reality you have no more of an idea than I do. There are lots of threads with lots of opinions and it seems pretty split to me:

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1615105

My3rdM3 are you planning to track the car (road course, I mean)? Again, this is just curiosity, not a sales tactic.

// EDIT: my bad--I'm inadvertently taking this thread wayyyy off-topic; apologies.
