///M Performance Exhaust

I have a Competition on order and need help...

Noticeable difference with this upgrade? Stock sounds great, but I love the look of the carbon tips.

Really appreciate the feedback

If stock sounds great for you, then M Performance exhaust will be to much for you.

You can just change the tips only if you want.

You can post under Engine, Exhaust, etc section where it belongs.

Personally, I find that the Stock pipes are a perfect match for my tastes.

I thought it would be a no-brainer to get an akra or m perf exhaust. I have had exhaust on nearly all of my cars in the last 20 years (BMW/Porsche/Ferrari).

BUT --- my recommendation to you is to get through the 1200 mile before you make a decision. The stock M5C exhaust is really damn good. This is the direction I am going. Just took delivery last week and so far it's pretty awesome in stock form. and I haven't even broken the 4000 rpm mark yet.

I got the M Sport exhaust on my non-comp package M5 and it sounds great. I don't need anything more than that. Had an F80 M3 comp package and I have to admit it was a little too much for my taste... or maybe I'm just getting more mature in my mid 30s lol

The New $7000 M performance exhaust is awesome I wish it was available when I ordered my M5 comp. The M5 Comp standard exhaust is great but the M Performance is better for hearing the engine sound while accelerating that is the big difference. I may still put it on, if it was built in my lease I would have added for sure and it looks sweet! Classic BMW has one in Cleveland
in stock I will see if I can get a sound clip and pics.

I installed mine a few months ago and it really transforms the look of the rear. I have a CF diffuser, side skirts, and it complements them so nicely. And the sound is fantastic, especially the ability to essentially turn it on/off via the exhaust button - I couldn't be happier with it!

For $7000, I would just do Remus Axle Back.
It will be a little louder than stock Comp, but with CF Tips.

I wonder if the mpe in the noncomp m5 is the same thing as the comp mpe?
Have you heard both?

Yea, that's why I would rather spend less for CF tips.

Or do AC Schnitzer CF tips for less than $7k.

I'd still like to see a side by side sound comparison between the MPE and the sport exhaust.

I had the normal sport exhaust system on mine but upgraded to the MPE a week ago. At last the M5 sounds like the car it is. Absolute zero regrets. And the carbon tips looks stunning.
