I did not investigate it any further. I am extremely happy with the exhaust. Sounds fantastic. All I know is that the button in the car has some impact on sound and noise level. Is that valves or not I have no idea and frankly I don't really care.

Mine is being installed now, and I was curious because I had unplugged the valves in the open position on the stock exhaust, and didn't know what to tell them to do with the connectors on the new M performance exhaust. I wonder if they will ask me about it or not. Just curious if there was anything to plug into on the new one.

I know from what I was told that there were things to plug in. There were some extra small boxes on the kit. Not sure what they were however. Wish I could tell you more.

Let me know how you like it

Just drove it and I love it. It has a much more exotic sounding growl and snarl, but not obnoxiously loud.

Awesome. Glad you're happy. Gotta love the pops and crackles in sport + and such a blast to play around with them at different rpm's

As an added bonus, I think this system has the best looking tips of all the options, IMHO.

So looking back at the initial pics, there's no way they retained the valves on this system. I just don't see how they could've plumbed it to keep valves. Seems like you're stuck with fully open 24/7 on this system.

There are no valves, I can confirm. However, the valve button completely stops the exhaust burbles/overrun on deceleration/downshifting. Riddle me that one, if anyone knows how it works.

So what we saw with our eyes did not lie. No valves as suspected. Interesting. Very interesting. Think I’m going with Remus now.
It must come with dummy plugs to cap the valve harness to keep codes from popping up.

It's just ECU programming, they just squirt extra bit of fuel into the cylinder to mimic this happening naturally.

Pretty much this... You can code in louder / quieter / non existent burbles / over runs / cold start already as it is...

Anyone get a chance to hear both the Arkra and M-Performance?
Is there an audible difference from side the cabin vs stock or M-Sport exhaust?

Ok bossman. Whatever you say sarge. I just figured since I started this thread and I do have the exhaust I could chime in but I guess not since mister know it all over here feels the need to go out of his way and be a smart ass

I'm not understanding how ANY of that is smart ass? Obviously you misunderstood and we were responding to the guy that we quoted in our reply...

1. You need to get laid or get whatever stick is out of your ass out

2. Stop ruining Canada's stellar rep for nice people (maybe except Justin Bieber)

And

3. Don't blame me if you're out there spreading misinformation - if you aren't 100, stop making it sound like you're the final authority and what you says goes... If someone doesn't agree with you, it will be alright, life goes on...

Oh and 4. Exhaust is NOT full titanium and there are NO valves... Spend the time you would've spent instigating to educating yourself instead of confusing people who are trying to make a decision... Or make a damn driving video for all those have asked instead of being salty sally...

Here you go again!!

I simply replied that no coding was done to my car and you replied nobody was referring to my car . I'm quite aware that someone else asked the question but what does it matter if I chime in I have the same exhaust. What purpose could that possibly serve other than you just being a smartass. Just shut the f up already.

For the millionth time read the stupid thread, I clearly say that it is a combination of titanium and stainless!!! Read already... can't be to hard for you. it's on the first page just in case you can't keep focused long enough.

How is it misinformation if I say my car did not get any " special " coding after they installed the exhaust.

As for the valves i simply repeated what the tech told me. Obviously he was wrong and so was I.

I will do a drive video when it stops freaking snowing.

I think your definition of smart ass and my definition of smart ass are entirely different... There's ZERO in my response that was meant negative or smart assed - I merely stated that message was for someone else not in regards to your vehicle, in the event you took it as such and got all butthurt again... Apparently, doesn't matter, lol...

I like that plan better - shutting the F up and you taking some driving vids... Actually falling on you - most people are on fence with MP vs Remus / MP vs Akra etc... I'm just miffed that there's no valve controllers and it's not full titanium but pricing is STEEP for Boysen... I still dig it and from what I've heard from your clips it sounds like what I'm looking for - I'm just concerned because I have Keller lower DP's and it makes the stock exhaust give off some serious base... Intakes probably add to the louder exhaust / base as well...
