Down pipe value

Does any forum member have any dyno info, such as before and after results, of what a good set of DP's add in the way of rwhp? I know that when I did this for my F10 it was good for about 35 rwhp.

DP's

Thanks for the info. I will confirm next month when I dyno my car. I am actually hoping for a little more based on what a friend of mine just got on his car - 44 rwhp.

On my F10, I got DP's just for the better exhaust tone and overall sound. Then I added the better intake, MSR, and it made a big difference. I dyno'd it back then and gained a total of 60 rwhp, posted it here and there were some non-believers.

Yes I know that on f10 the DP are making big difference

But from what I see on forums the stock DP on f90 good enough
They can get 750 cfm (good for 850-900hp)

Some one correct me if I’m wrong...(;

Somebody?!

I can't answer your question directly, but I understand that you can make really nice (and safe for engine) power with stock downpipes. if you go turbo upgrade, I imagine that may change...but I asked the question directly and was told catless is not necessary to make the power you likely want. if you are going for top power and are ok with tuning to the point where the eninge enters a range of potential failure, dps might help you get there.

aren't secondaries just adding more noise? When I start up Remus in eco I have a feeling it doesn't sound as deep as I expected it to be, I could almost swear akra on my f10 sounded more throaty? Once Remus is in ss mode it sounds like it should.. this could also be that I'm judging above from inside cabin with closed windows so I should perhaps test while standing outside of car and let the baffles break in a bit.

Turbo engine hates restriction.
Catless lets the turbo to spool faster and at higher boost.
All this new twin scroll turbo is to help the low end torque.
