Finally I ordered the 4 seasons

BMW won't install tires not via their part department, besides they are W rates tires.

Ordered from Costco and they won't install them either, because the load index for the rear is 100 instead of 104.

I won't go racing and those are just for raining seasons. Is this a problem?

In my personal opinion, this is an error. All seasons just dont do anything great. They do everything just about average at best. We've had the good fortune to spend all this money on these cars, Id prefer to ride on the best rubber I can at all times. To me, that means great summer tires and great winter tires. You can never underestimate the effect of a quality tire on performance cars. They truly make all the difference. Again, take this with a grain of salt as I am a self admitted tire geek. This is just my opinion based on my own 30 years of performance car ownership and countless hours of tire education over the years. All the best

Thanks. I just need my M5 from home to work about two blocks away. Besides I am in Vancouver Canada where winter tires are not absolutely required for urban areas. Majority of our winter season here just rains and above freezing, typical coastal weather system.

agree with you in principle
but had no problem with continental DWS on several cars and I did not feel I missed performance as I don't drive these cars aggressively
unfortunately , they are not available in M5 size , so I am looking for another good alternative
