Grill Replacement, anyone knows how?

I always back the car in and this time didn't do it far enough and closed the garage door right onto the front. After the heart attack passed, I went to inspect the damage and small chunks are missing out of the grill. I already found an identical replacement and was wondering if these grills can be popped out, like the kidney grills on the F10s? Or if a lot more has to come out to get to the grill?

Should be similar to this link for the pre-LCI.
Lucky the garage door only took a chunk out of the grille and not the bumper/lights/hood.

Its different on the newer models. You don't just pull them off like in the 18 and 19. It not difficult. Good video here.

ugh did the same thing to my 2020 a year or so ago, i only wish it had hit the replaceable grill. My garage took a 1/2" chunk out of my lower lip of the front bumper through the PPF! gonna require bondo and a respray to fix.

the surround has held by lots of PITA clips, take your time and upgrade it to carbon fiber

I already bought an identical replacement from a third party vendor, its probably 3 times less then getting from a dealer. It'll be interested to see if there is any difference once I do it.

Mike thank you for the videos!

I know, trust me the shame, anger and thousand different emotions rolled through me. I have no surround cameras, but obviously use mirrors and back up camera, I always try to get that "perfect" distance from the back wall, not too close not too far. I misjudged it by an inch, it was a metal piece on a garage door hinge that got "hung up" right on the grill, stopping the entire door as I watched in cold horror.

Thanks to others as well, I appreciate the info.

Oh, sorry did not know you did not have that feature.

Oh well, you can fix it at least, not too expensive, and an excuse to get Carbon Fiber one.
