I have a 2021 M5 Competition. Does anyone know if these gauges are accurate? I installed a racechip and noticed the gauges read exactly the same that they did when it was stock. I Assumed that the hp and torque readings would have pegged. Both Gauges have a maximum reading of 640 on each. The racechip supposedly adds 100 hp and 100 lbs of torque.

Because piggy backs bypass ECU, the installed gauges are going to still read info from stock ECU. You would need a flash to get a read from stock gauges..

I've considered Racechip for mine as well. How was the install? Does it feel any different?

The car pulls a good bit harder. Difficult to determine if it’s 100+ hp though. I would recommend getting the GTS Black chip. The install is very easy. Took 10-15 minutes. Racechip is very helpful and their return policy is quite accommodating
