Maybe the selling price but nothing else!

More power to the folks getting amazing deals but I have not found any in Texas, at this time, for the car I wanted.

Yea I think those folks getting massive deals are getting deals for cars not moving off inventory. Looks like u have a specific combination in mind and if that's what u really want then go for it. Better to pay extra and be happy about ur choice than pay for random build and regret it.

Thank you, that was my thought process- might as well pay a bit more to get the exact car I want. The interesting thing is that I found one close to what I want in Houston and the car has been there for 9 months but they were shady in their offer. Gave me 7.7% off but MF was .00250! They also wanted to charge $449 for interior protection spray and $299 for VIN in 28 places on the car!

Got tired of all the BS and so called my local dealer, told him the car I wanted and it was very quick and straightforward. He found one in Ohio and should be here tomorrow, planning on picking it up on. Wednesday

There is 1 TX dealer in particular who is awful with their M car deals.

Here in the Northeast, we have no trouble getting 9-11% off Mcars all day, and that's with a base MF and doesn't even include loyalty/lease/apr cash.

I think CA and FL are also just as bad when it comes to M cars.

Maybe it's just a southern thing?

Most states just charge tax on the payment.

Texas needs to get their cash somewhere with no state income tax.

I think I know the dealer you are referring to. The one I talked to must be a close second.

Exactly.... and the above number does not include any interest payment.

Was just going to type this, TX tax is on the full value of the car. Question though is if this is the same if you assume a lease from out of state?

For those people searching for good deals, hit swapalease and grab a low mileage 2019. Several cars on there below $1200/mo and high option cars are below $1300.

Agreed, you have to cast a wide net. My 19 f90 was MSRP 126k but got it for 102K. I reached out to the internet sales dept. in 4 states and went with the best deal.

Good idea, not sure how it works assuming an out of state lease. This is my first time leasing and time limited.

My local BMW Dealer was great to work with, selling price could have been better but honestly, there are only 8 vehicles on Autotrader that met my specifications and he had this shipped from Ohio.

Took about 2 min to sign the lease and picked up the car yesterday, will post photos soon!

That would be the best way to go to get a great deal and requires a lot of time and patience, the luxury of which I did not have this time. Based upon the quotes and responses I got from the 5 dealerships I reached out to, I am very happy with the deal I got, especially the service/ communication from my local BMW dealer.

I prefer to keep my business local if possible and to me, the time savings and peace of mind is worth the extra cost, as long as the deal is reasonable.

Will post photos soon! Loving it so far....

I always prefer to keep my business local, but I also prefer to keep my money local -- in my pocket

Ya I tried to stay local. Unfortunately they weren't anywhere close to what my broker was offering me so gonna have to go out of state now the only issue is getting the dealer that has my car to give it up! Been waiting almost a week and can't seem to get traction.

Haha now I see why you were interested in the fairfax one. I do appreciate that yours came with the black grills! Can't wait till my last piece comes in from ind.

Yes, DG over Aragon, not many out there- would have preferred the full Aragon like yours has but apparently BMW Cincinnati was so easy to deal with, per my local dealer.

I will not do justice to all this car offers but enjoying it very much. Already have 1400miles on it and done with BIS.

Yours is coming along great- tastefully done. Enjoy it in the best of health.

Haha ya. I just can't wait to get her back. Getting ppf on bumper and ceramic and ceramic tint. Going with the most expensive ceramic tint I've ever done. A multilayer ceramic from xpel. Says it blocks 98% of the heat. I'll be the judge of that. I thought getting "normal" ceramic on the X5 was fancy. This crap makes my ceramic tint look like child's play. Haha
