I see Burger has these on Ebay right now......are these different? Looks like they have the little centering cutout like the OEM ones, too.....

These seem quite nice although think I would have preferred gloss black but the size looks good. Does anyone know if these are a pure slip on slip off with no screws and just a mallet needed? Anyone got these on yet and any photos?

they are slip on, look at the picture the slot for the exhaust nipple is clearly there.. if you're not a fan of matte finish, prior to install take them to powdercoater have them stripped and coated your desired color, problem solved.

I just read this thread and then went to the burger website and ordered the slip on Chrome ones to replace my black ones.
They are being delivered to the UK so will be a few days, it will post pics.
New 21s coming soon and lowering springs from MSS. Should look great on my Black F90. Wish I could fit the suspension at home!!!

Look forward to some pics. What 21s you got? The M5 needs 21s for sure.

Those were direct slide on with no tightening screw? Did you have to cut the centering pin on your M5 or no?

I kept the pin and enlarged the slot on the tips as suggested on page 1/2

used a drill and angle grinder to do this

Ok, cool.....and that link you posted is definitely the ones you bought? I had emailed that company and they replied today and said they could not verify they would fit the F90 because they had not tried them.

Hi UK owners.
So I’ll be fitting my ones today from burger (ordered from USA).
I’ve had a good online chat with their UK supplier and they have them for sale in the UK now at:

https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/prod...43046389&_ss=r
Good luck. Pics to come later.

Here they are in place. They actually slide up to the end of the pipe, not the notch, so one of the pipes on my car must be 2mm shorter as I had to offset one tip to hang 2mm further out. Fit and finish looks good though.
And before you say it, yes.... it needs a wash. It's black. It always needs a wash.

Looks good. Can you take one from further back for us all to have a good look at her? Were there any screws to tighten the tips in place or just simply slide on and a couple of hits with a rubber mallet etc? Cheers and enjoy!!

See some others attached. Maybe not perfect to understand. There are 4 screw holes as various places on each tip.
I only used one, which kept it hidden as the screw thread is way longer than required.
My plan is to either get some much shorter screws of the same thread, or just use the one and some lock tight.
I've also included some pics of the old ones and what they look like when removed. They use a sort of spring and barb method. Literally biting into the underlying pipe.

I am confused....so you did cut the centering pins or no?

I only ask because those tips are still out further than stock.....a lot of us do not want that.

MSX's tips look like they are pushed back to where the old ones were. They look more of like a rolled tip, too....like the OEM ones. Is this true? The Burger ones seem to be more blunt at the end.

Thanks Clarkey and I agree re the screw if that is the case and trim it down. Not a big job. I'm going to have a go the weekend and see how I get on with the black ones. Will post some pics all being well. Appreciate the time you've taken to take further pictures and explain. If they don't look nice I'll simply take them off and put the old ones back! :O)

Some extra pics. Here's the angles to see the extra holes etc. I was sort of 80% happy yesterday, this morning I'm 90%. I think I just need the bigger wheels on now and to lower it.
If you have any questions before ordering this item let me know.

There on

A quick 10 minute job and I am happy with the changes. I have blackened up the tips with a car product since I took the picture earlier in the day and think they look even better. Before and after shots. Im happy....
