Nice, I just wish the rear would drop a little more. For the look I would go with 12 mm but be aware of rock chips on sides.Lol
Or put protective film.
Did you do any measurements before as far as hight goes?

Id like to see the rear drop on your car... Im still trying to figure out if I like the lack of lowering in the rear on mine.

I ran 15F/12R spacers on my H&R drop:

Looks so much better with spacers. I need them too but I think I will wait, planning to put winter tires on EOM rims and get a new set for spring thinking 285 front and 295 back

I am thinking 20' but 21' would definitely drop the space even more.
I am adding Carbon Trunk Spoiler tomorrow and I will see if they have the Springs In stock.
If they do I will check the F.L. and the Spring Rate and post it in %
I am curious to see the difference in Rate

Not the way I stated, in fact the plus sizing is within 1/10th of an inch to the better on a 295x30x21 vs 285x35x20.

There will be no way I go 21's if the gap gets bigger LOL-- Im almost tempted to go with the M550i's:

No it won't get bigger, the way I wrote can be misunderstood.
I might go with 21' too.

Adding a tune soon... might need more grip.
I would love to put 305 in the back but, I believe 295 up front might be to much.

Why aren’t you guys considering KW HAS to go lower? HR seems like a very conservative drop

I got one of the first H&R sets back in August while KW was back ordered till about now or even longer. Based on the H&R website, I was going off a 1.2 inch drop square and they just didnt back up their numbers. And all of us here have seen the same results.

1.2 was a fine drop if they actually could deliver it but it appears only the M550i is as advertised with a 1.3 front and 1.2 rear drop.

Mine dropped .750 front and .375 in the back
Will confirm this number after measurements

Which I think confirms my fears that while the part #'s are the same, H&R made these springs for the CE which makes no sense because I dont think the CE guys want a tiny little drop either:

I do agree with you.
I personally wish the rear could drop a little more.

I'm returning the F90 H&R's and going with the H&R M550i springs. I've already ordered 21" wheels and these springs are not going to cut it IMO.

I spoke to Wheels Boutique whose M5 shop car is on the M5501 springs and they said ride quality is exceptional and they had zero issues w/ this set up; ride height and both front and rear look great.

I knew it (about their car) when they first posted a lowered car. Members kept asking how they did it and there was crickets.

When are you going to lower? Before the wheels are only after they come in? Ive sourced one set locally and am about to pull the trigger myself.

As soon as I get the M550i springs I will go ahead and lower as it will provide a good baseline to then proceed to the 21" wheels.

I ordered some stuff from IND so will probably do it all together; will not bother with spacers to have them on a couple of weeks.

Did you pull the trigger on the M550i springs? You want to laugh?

The springs I received were actually the M550i springs that were intended for another F90 M5 owner ... the shop had already agreed to exchange them for me when they called me earlier today as they thought they delivered the incorrect springs. Long story short, I'll be going the M550i route and they're already in my possession.

The car gods ....
