Sorry to revive an old thread but why is that? Is it because it’s too loud or because the smooth tone goes away? I’m thinking of doing catless Downpipes with m performance exhaust. I don’t care about loudness.

Ugh...I hate rasp. I was really wanting to do catless dp’s to reduce EGT’s but I don’t know if it’s worth it if it comes with rasp 😏

What about going for catless primary, stock secondary and catback exhaust(akrapovic)? Is it still raspy?
At the moment I have Akra evolution line and Im looking for catless primaries, but dont want to ruin the great Akra sound, just make it little bit more loud and reduce the back pressure on the turbos
