I have iPE Catback on my 19' M5C and agree with the others in that Valve Control is a nice feature to have.

Thanks for the feedback. Now leaning Keller downpipes and Remus exhaust.

Am I the only one that thinks the Remus tips are a little short? I like that they are 101 mm vs 90 mm for Eisenmann but wish they were a little longer. Some of the side shots when they are mounted look a little off because they are short.

Keller DP's and Remus is a great combo and what I ran. Selling my Remus now and toning the car down a bit but it sure sounded mean!

As far as them being short, I don't think they are at all. I think if they stuck out further it would be too much. I like the way they sit.

101 and 90mm are not the length measurement. Those are diameter measurement.

I know that Remus tips are adjustable. I don't recall the Eisenmann. I think they are adjustable too.

I went with after market tips but they are same size as oem. Exhaust was cheaper without tips.

For those of you who have heard both in person, what are the differences in terms of the characteristic of the sound? Which one do you prefer and why?

I don't want it to be obnoxiously loud, but I do want deeper and a little louder than stock competition exhausts.

Any input will be very helpful, thanks in advance!!
MPE for sure, I have it and it's perfection with the V8!

I’m aware of that. What I’m saying is I prefer the 101 mm diameter on the Remus over the 90 mm diameter on the Eisenmann. However, Eisenmann is 160 mm long I believe and I bet Remus is probably only 120 mm. The tips on Remus just look a little short. Maybe I’m just OCD! I just wish the Remus tips were a little longer so they extended further under the car body. They end abruptly and look odd sometimes from side view.

Hmm, never noticed that.
I've installed many and it can be adjusted where it will stick out almost 2" beyond the bumper.

doesnt look like an issue here with mine--- further no one wants shotgun barrel tips LOL

Any poor looking remus tip locations is purely install issues in nature.

How does the Remus sound at cold start up? I have a MPE and it's quite startling how loud it is at cold start ups. My neighbor's kid's window is diagonal to my garage across the street and I really do feel bad every time I start the car cold. Love the exhaust in every aspect except the cold start up. TIA.

Cold start are pretty loud in any case. Also a lot depends how hot or cold the temps are.
