Talking Burger tuning bms elite bmw f90 m5 intake

Featuring high quality S&B inverted cone filters the BMS Elite F90 M5 Performance Intake offers the highest possible flow in an attractive and easy to install/remove package. Not to mention the intoxicating sound. The BMS Elite M5 Performance Intake retains everything that is good about the OEM intake system including the cold air ducting and light weight heat shielding airbox bottom; but, completely replaces the restrictive top end of the OEM intake with new high flow ducting and 2 performance filters to match. Includes all required hardware. Does NOT require any cutting or drilling. While the factory intake is very high flowing the BMS Elite intake provides power gains of up to 10whp range at 25psi+ boost levels. Turbo spool up speed is also improved. Made in USA.

Any measurable data that can prove 10WHP?

What is preventing the heat soak?

What's the point of posting new product if not replying to questions?
I like to know the answer too.
Perhaps there is no explanation

I made a few posts about the intake on this forum too. They've been picking up around 1mph on average in the 1/4 mile with it. The BMS intake retains the factory airbox bottom and ducting and logs show no increase in intake temps with it. They've also run it at a few 1/2 mile events now with the intake hitting 160mph+ traps in warm weather. Well ahead of cars same day running similar tuning with the stock intake.

Overall it's not a huge power increase but for the money, looks, and sound, a pretty fun option.

These answers have been answered a million times already. Open intakes on turbo BMW show no increase in temps or any decrease in performance.

Buy an intake if you want improved sound .. performance gains are minimal.

Charcoal delete and drop-ins ..... this worked well for me on the F10 M5 platform. Should work well here as well, more so given there are no MAF sensors.

We all good

We got the info now.

It will suck more heat in slow moving and specially traffic.

YES it would be nice to attach this to original tread so it's all in one not scattered.
