Damn, did it beat M2 on a tight track? I didn't expect that.

the fact it beat the m2 around that really tight and short track by like a second is pretty nuts. quite the improvement from the f10 id say. f10 would always be just about there with m4(depends on track but half a sec slower or so) but this new car slapped the old benchmark to shit. very good all around car. a beast in the straights, lovely interior, bunch of space of luggage and passengrrs, nice exterior design and by the looks of it properly fast around a track.

These guys are the least knowledgeable or credible mainstream YouTube automotive “journalists” by a mile. It’s basically car reviews and videos for people who know nothing about cars. I’m not convinced that an experienced driver in an M2 would get trounced by an M5.

I watched the rest of this (it was painful). He whinges why there are M buttons - not 1, but 2. He then goes onto say why can't I have 1 button that gives me all the beans and another that says I am driving to my grandma's.... those M buttons he despises so much, well just saying.
Ironically if these were the only 2 modes, the car would be slated for being too binary - most likely by guys like him. I would suggest if these things are too complicated, reviewing them might be best left to someone else. |

If you watched the vid, they talked about the fact that due to elevation (about a mile up) that the stats would be different than at sea level. They got like a 5.3 0-60 time from the M2, which is about a second slower than at sea level. So that should have clued you in about what was going to happen next. AWD, and well over 570+ hp in the M5 is going to do some damage on the track.

They got a 3.95 0-60 out of an X6M and a 3.85 out of the F90 M5?
Different day and conditions...but come on! In their TrackHawk vs. M5 vid this Roman dude, did not even use LC. Because it is "too hard to engage". He's such a Hellcat fanboy. I used to own a Hellcat and his comparison of the Hellcat to every car they review is getting old. It may be great for highway roll ons and sound.... but its worthless when it comes to traction. Take their reviews with a grain of salt.
