Hi All,

I have a stage 2 bootmod3 93 oct tune with DPs and intakes. I have 16K miles on the vehicle and so far vehicle is running strong.

Did you guys change your spark plugs to a step colder and have the gapped?

I know with my F10 it was a must. Most guys who went stage 2 got a DTM, but after the plug swap it went away. Same time though most of these guys had higher miles like around 30-50K. I was at 73K miles and got a DTM when I went stage 2, but at the same time the plugs were really bad.

I put ngk 2 step colder with gap at .22.

Thank you. How many miles did you change your plugs? I'm at 17k miles. I know I'm due soon. How did the car run post plug change and gap?

I changed (the dealer does) my spark plug around 25,000 km. The change was not scheduled by the dealer. I changed them because i drove with MS109 and more boost.

The car was doing well in daily driving. I did not encounter any problem. I removed the catalytic system too.

It is better if you are gapping the spark plugs to run on gasoline above 93 octane. Put some unleaded octane booster or E20 - E25 or E30.

But I don't know with BotMod3 how it works.
