I've always said that It would be very cool to order one in addition to my F90. I text my SA this morning (830AM EST) and he said it was his 4th request for additional info of the day lol

I am first in line at a small dealership. Although not sure if they will get an allocation at all.
The dealership that got me my CS at MSRP, is charging 50k over. Seemingly everyone who went bananas over the CS and couldn’t get one, is clamoring for the CSL.

Whatever your opinion might be on the cars, I think BMW M has definitely started to create the hype Porsche GT cars have always garnered. Having said that, the GT division is still on a different level, although we are closer than ever

From calling around alot of dealers are asking 30-50k just due to limited production. I have one available but we are asking 50k as well

For that money (particularly with the stealer markup), I'd prefer a 718 GT4 RS.

I’d like to see the markup on the upcoming M4 Hommage. There will be plenty of people in line to pay stupid money for both the CSL and Hommage, just like all the people who paid $50k+ markup on the CS.

As a side note, the silly automotive press has understated the M4 CSL's achievement. The 7:20 was for the new longer "full" 'ring. The time for the "classic" shorter ring that compares to most of the older recorded times is actually 7:15 which is significantly more impressive. Check out fastestlaps.com for the exact numbers.

But I'd still rather have the 718 GT4 RS which is just as quick or quicker on both old and new portions of the 'ring.

I am not sure if you checked but allocations have been given out yesterday so I would check to see if your store has an allocation because they only get 1 if they did get it.

They said the same bs when F90 first launched and it was nowhere near the speed of DCT, especially when you are pulling the paddles. I am guessing this is similar bogus.

Hard pass for me. When I got on the list for the G80 M3 CS last year I could have gotten the first M4 CSL. It didn't appeal to me so I passed.

Looking at it, I'm glad I did. Not loving the graphics or the trunk. Wondering why it doesn't have a cage too. I'd rather get a F80 GTS.

A dealer reached out to me today offering me allocation for M4 CSL at $50k over MSRP!!! All I could do was laugh.
Nearly sputtered out my drink LOL!

Hey Ex Stig, does this mean you will be selling your M5 CS next year?

Doubtful.

If the M3 CS still has the "Big Mouth Bass" grill I'll probably skip it. If it has the LCI grill, that will make things interesting.

I do miss my F80 CS.

Correct 1 per dealer though a lot of dealers are attempting to buy second and third allocations from other dealers for a significant markup I mean if you have all the allocations there's no one stopping you from raising the prices at that point lol

G80 M3 CS should be a good sweet spot car alot like the F80 CS was. Except this time they wont be sitting on lots for months on end. The lease deals some people got on F80 CS's were incredible.

bmw is an under $130k brand .. they are great but once you get over $130k , there are a lot of cars that look better, sound better, are faster, and more prestigious.

$190,000 for an m4 is beyond tragic
